    Credit Card Processing Leads

Credit card processing leads give you merchant inquiries for statement review, rate analysis and card acceptance discovery—not prequalified savings opportunities. At MerchantCardLeads, our shared leads cost $25, exclusive leads $45 and aged leads start at $0.75. What does a credit card processing lead mean for a representative reviewing acceptance costs?

Our credit card processing leads give you an opening to discuss how a business accepts cards and pays for processing. They are not live transfers, appointments, inbound calls or pay-per-call purchases. An inquiry also does not establish that a merchant can reduce costs, change providers immediately or qualify for a particular account.

Your first objective is to determine whether a meaningful processing review is possible. Is the merchant already accepting cards? Can the decision-maker provide a recent complete statement through an appropriate secure channel? Does the business sell face to face, online, by telephone or through recurring billing?

Those answers shape the conversation. A merchant comparing a quoted percentage needs a different review from one concerned about authorization fees, refunds or deposit reconciliation. We provide the inquiry; you establish the economics and service fit. Treat statement access and decision-maker participation as qualification milestones, not assumptions attached to the purchase.

How do our paid campaigns capture processing inquiries and consent?

We run our own paid Facebook and Google campaigns. Our campaigns display a consent disclosure naming MerchantCardLeads and partner payment-processing providers:

“By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

New campaign leads carry the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in dashboard, email and webhook delivery. Review that evidence before outreach, and preserve it with your sales activity. It gives your team context for the inquiry; it does not establish that a merchant has agreed to a statement review or a provider switch.

You are responsible for TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach, including your calling, texting and suppression practices. Do not assume that an aged inquiry renews consent or that every historical inquiry carries the same evidence. Your opt-in to buyer SMS alerts is separate from the merchant’s consent and does not expand your permission to contact merchants.

What do shared, exclusive and aged credit card processing leads cost?

Our shared leads cost $25 and may be sold to up to three buyers. Our exclusive leads cost $45. Fresh exclusivity does not prohibit later disclosed aged resale, so distinguish the fresh purchase arrangement from the inquiry’s full commercial life. Pricing can vary for high-risk or high-volume leads.

Our aged pricing is $6 for 1–30 days, $3 for 31–90 days, $1.50 for 91–180 days and $0.75 for 180+ days. The minimum aged order is 25 leads. Aged quantity discounts are 10% at 100 leads and 20% at 500 leads. Age-based prices describe the inquiry’s age, not its current interest in a processing review.

For statement-focused selling, choose your purchase type around follow-up capacity and the depth of analysis you can deliver. Shared inquiries may involve competing conversations. Exclusive inquiries still require prompt qualification. Aged inquiries call for a fresh discussion of current needs: the merchant’s provider, volume or acceptance methods may have changed. A lower purchase price does not establish a lower cost per signed merchant.

Which filters help you target a useful card acceptance review?

Start your selection with industry and processing-volume criteria, then align geography with the markets you serve. Use lead age and purchase type to match your team’s outreach approach. These choices should help you narrow the buying plan, not substitute for merchant discovery.

Volume matters because transaction-level charges and recurring fees affect businesses differently. Industry helps you prepare relevant questions about ticket size, fulfillment and acceptance methods. An e-commerce inquiry, for example, warrants discussion of gateway charges, authentication, refunds and stored-card use. It does not prove the merchant’s actual card-not-present share or technical configuration.

Do not treat a broad category as a complete pricing profile. Confirm card-present versus card-not-present mix, debit versus credit usage, commercial-card exposure and average ticket directly with the merchant. We do not promise every merchant detail with every inquiry. Keep initial selection criteria practical, then use the first conversation to decide whether a detailed statement analysis is worth both parties’ time.

How should you qualify effective rate, interchange and operational fit?

Begin with the reason for the inquiry. Ask whether the merchant is evaluating total expense, an unclear statement, payment reliability or a change in acceptance methods. Confirm who approves a processing decision and whether an existing agreement creates timing or cost constraints.

Request a complete recent statement rather than relying on a quoted rate. Calculate an observed effective rate by dividing total processing charges by processed card sales for the same period, then multiplying by 100. State which charges and sales totals you used. Separate unusual adjustments and identify relevant costs billed elsewhere, such as gateway or equipment charges, before presenting a comparison.

A quoted percentage is not the same as an effective rate. Your review should distinguish interchange, network assessments, processor markup, per-transaction charges and recurring fees. Interchange outcomes depend on factors including card type, acceptance method and transaction qualification; they are not simply the processor’s discretionary markup.

Ask about keyed transactions, online checkout, recurring payments, authorization attempts, refunds and chargebacks. Confirm average ticket and the share of card-present versus card-not-present sales. Compare equivalent assumptions rather than applying a headline rate to all volume.

Finally, qualify operations: terminal and gateway requirements, settlement expectations, reconciliation, support and any equipment commitments. A proposal should explain pricing assumptions, included services and trade-offs. Never promise savings before analysis, and do not make a savings promise the basis of your follow-up. Close each conversation with a concrete next step, such as a secure statement submission or a review meeting with the decision-maker.

Which independent delivery channels fit a statement-review sales process?

Our dashboard, email and webhook delivery support different ways of managing inquiries. Use the dashboard for direct review, email for a rep-led workflow or webhook delivery to connect inquiries with your CRM process. Treat these as independent delivery channels rather than a required sequence.

For new campaign leads, keep the captured consent text, timestamp and source page accessible wherever your team works. If you use webhook delivery, map that evidence alongside the inquiry and confirm that your routing assigns a clear owner. Prevent multiple agents from opening overlapping processing conversations with the same merchant.

Your sales stages should reflect actual progress: contact attempted, needs discussed, statement requested, statement received, analysis completed and proposal reviewed. Delivery does not mean the merchant has reached any of those stages. Keep statement collection in your approved secure document workflow rather than asking merchants to place sensitive financial documents into an ordinary reply. Buyer SMS alerts require a separate opt-in.

What can you return when a processing inquiry cannot be worked?

Our return window is 72 hours. Review purchases promptly and submit eligible issues within that window. For aged leads, the eligible return reason is a bad phone number.

Separate a contact-quality issue from a sales qualification outcome. A merchant who declines to share a statement, has a competitive existing arrangement or cannot justify switching is not the same as an inquiry with a bad phone number. Likewise, a conversation that reveals an unsuitable acceptance model does not itself demonstrate a bad-phone issue.

Build a prompt review step into your buying routine. Record the issue accurately and keep your request focused on the applicable return terms. For aged purchases, do not treat no answer, changed interest or an unsuccessful rate comparison as the bad-phone reason. Your team’s economic analysis remains part of selling, not a promised outcome of the lead purchase.

How do you start without a contract and keep statement reviews manageable?

We offer Starter at $250, Growth at $500 and Scale at $1,000, with custom packs starting at $250. There are no contracts, and you can pause anytime. Choose your budget, purchase type, selection criteria and delivery approach around the number of merchants your team can contact and analyze properly.

Before buying, prepare a concise opening conversation, a secure statement request and a consistent comparison worksheet. Decide who checks consent evidence, who owns follow-up and who reviews pricing assumptions before a proposal goes out. These steps matter more than accumulating inquiries your team cannot work.

Evaluate your workflow through meaningful milestones: qualified conversations, complete statements received and proposals based on comparable acceptance assumptions. Do not equate a purchased inquiry with a signed account or residual income. For help aligning a purchase with your processing sales approach, contact our founder, Chad Buchanan, at (248) 686-6955.

What should you know before contacting a merchant?

Our campaigns capture merchant inquiries with a disclosure naming MerchantCardLeads and partner payment-processing providers. New campaign leads include the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in your dashboard, email and webhook delivery. You are responsible for following TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach.

By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Buyer SMS alerts use a separate opt-in: “I agree to receive automated lead-alert text messages from MerchantCardLeads at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

    No contracts. Pause anytime.

Real-time return requests: within 72 hours. Approved returns become wallet credits; “already has a processor” is not a valid return reason. Aged returns: bad phone only.

What else do payments reps ask?

Can we quote a processing rate before the merchant shares a statement?

You can discuss your pricing structure, but label any illustration with its assumptions. Without a complete statement and acceptance-mix discussion, a quoted rate is not a reliable comparison of total expense. We recommend qualifying the merchant’s needs before presenting a cost comparison.

Does the $45 exclusive price buy an exclusive statement-review appointment?

No. Our $45 price is for an exclusive lead, not an appointment, completed statement package or commitment to switch. Fresh exclusivity also does not prohibit later disclosed aged resale. You still need to earn the merchant’s participation in a review.

Can an aged inquiry be contacted as though the merchant just requested a rate review?

No. Establish the timing and current relevance honestly. Review the available consent evidence and apply your TCPA and DNC responsibilities. An aged purchase does not renew consent or establish that the merchant still wants a processing comparison.

How should we set up routing for merchants with both retail and online sales?

Route the inquiry to a representative who can assess both acceptance channels. Confirm each channel’s volume, ticket size, gateway or terminal requirements and related charges. Keep one accountable owner so the merchant receives a coordinated analysis rather than disconnected rate quotes.
