Our merchant account leads open a qualification conversation with a business interested in merchant services. You still need to establish who owns the business, what it sells, how it accepts payment and whether a processor can support its activity. These are not live transfers, appointments, inbound calls or pay-per-call opportunities.
Keep interest, application readiness and underwriting approval separate. A merchant may want processing immediately while lacking ownership documents, a clear refund policy or evidence of fulfillment. Another may have complete paperwork but sell products outside your sponsor bank’s appetite.
Your first objective is to decide whether the inquiry deserves an application review, additional documentation or a different placement route. We provide the inquiry; you evaluate the merchant against your provider’s current requirements. Neither a lead purchase nor an exclusive purchase establishes acceptable risk, account approval or a settlement arrangement.
Our own paid Facebook and Google campaigns invite merchants to inquire about payment processing. They display a consent disclosure naming MerchantCardLeads and partner payment-processing providers:
“By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
New campaign leads carry the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in dashboard, email and webhook delivery. Review that evidence before outreach and retain it with your sales activity. It explains the inquiry’s context; it does not replace your assessment of which outreach methods you may use.
You are responsible for TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach, including applicable restrictions and opt-out handling. Do not assume an aged purchase renews consent or that every historical inquiry carries the same evidence. Your opt-in to buyer SMS alerts is separate from the merchant’s consent.
Our shared merchant account leads cost $25 and are shared with up to three buyers. Exclusive leads cost $45 and give you exclusive access at the fresh-lead stage. Fresh exclusivity does not prohibit later disclosed aged resale. Pricing can vary for high-risk or high-volume leads.
Our aged pricing is $6 for 1–30 days, $3 for 31–90 days, $1.50 for 91–180 days and $0.75 for more than 180 days. The minimum aged order is 25 leads. Aged quantity discounts are 10% at 100 leads and 20% at 500 leads.
Compare these options against your underwriting capacity, not just the purchase price. Shared inquiries require a clear reason for the merchant to continue with you. Exclusive inquiries still require full qualification. Aged inquiries require you to reconfirm the merchant’s current business activity, ownership, processing need and application status before requesting documents. A lower acquisition cost does not make a restricted business acceptable to your processor.
Use your buying criteria to narrow the first review around industry, processing volume and lead age. Where relevant options are offered, align them with your territory and the business categories your providers accept. Industry and volume help you prioritize a conversation; they do not establish underwriting eligibility.
For e-commerce, ask about the actual products, sales channels, recurring charges and time between payment and shipment. A broad industry description cannot distinguish immediate shipment from long delivery commitments. Similarly, a volume band does not tell you the merchant’s largest ticket, seasonality or exposure to advance payments.
Before choosing your mix, write down your provider’s prohibited activities and categories requiring additional review. Treat broad high-risk descriptions as prompts for investigation, not placement endorsements. Do not assume every ownership, fulfillment or chargeback detail accompanies an inquiry. Use filters to reduce obvious mismatches, then use direct qualification to establish the facts that matter.
Start by confirming the legal business name, operating name, ownership structure and the person authorized to discuss an application. Ask whether ownership has changed and whether other related businesses process payments. Follow your provider’s process for identifying owners and authorized signers rather than treating the person who inquired as automatically authorized.
Next, establish what customers buy and when the merchant completes its obligation. Ask about inventory, suppliers, delivery times, subscriptions, cancellation terms and refunds. Long fulfillment periods and advance payments deserve specific discussion because transaction volume alone does not describe the exposure.
Review processing history, chargeback patterns, refund activity and any previous termination or reserve arrangement. Ask for explanations and supporting statements rather than relying on a verbal assurance that disputes are under control. For a new business, establish the proposed operating model without implying that processing history exists.
Build a document checklist around the receiving processor’s requirements. Depending on the application, that may include ownership identification, business formation documents, bank evidence, processing statements, supplier records and published customer policies. Collect sensitive documents through your approved secure process. End each conversation with one clear next action: document collection, provider review or a reasoned decision not to proceed.
Dashboard, email and webhook delivery can each support your workflow independently. Use the dashboard for direct review, email for a representative-managed queue or webhook delivery to route inquiries into your CRM. Choose the channel that keeps ownership of the next action clear rather than creating several competing queues.
New campaign consent text, timestamp and source page accompany these delivery options. Preserve that context as an inquiry moves from initial outreach to document collection. Your team should be able to distinguish a merchant who merely expressed interest from one who has authorized an application review.
For CRM routing, separate inquiry status, qualification status and application status. Assign one representative to confirm the business model and another reviewer only when your process calls for it. Keep underwriting documents in your approved document system rather than circulating them through routine lead alerts. Buyer SMS alerts, if used, require a separate buyer opt-in.
Our return window is 72 hours. Review purchases promptly so you can identify a potential issue and submit a return request within that window. For aged leads, the returnable reason is a bad phone number.
A merchant’s underwriting outcome is different from whether an inquiry qualifies for a return. A restricted product, insufficient operating history, incomplete paperwork or an unacceptable chargeback pattern can prevent placement without making the inquiry a defective lead. Do not build your buying plan around receiving credits for merchants your processor declines.
For aged purchases, requalification is part of the work: the merchant may have changed providers, altered its product mix or postponed an application. Those possibilities are not the aged bad-phone return reason. Keep a concise record of the issue behind any return request, and distinguish it from your sales notes about readiness or risk. A purchase never guarantees a completed application, approval or placement.
We offer Starter at $250, Growth at $500 and Scale at $1,000, with custom packs starting at $250. There are no contracts, and you can pause anytime. Choose your starting purchase around the number of inquiries your team can qualify and review, not the number it can simply contact.
Before you begin, define your accepted business categories, placement partners, document checklist and follow-up ownership. Decide which delivery channel will be your primary queue. Prepare separate conversation paths for established merchants with statements and new businesses that need closer review of their operating plans.
Track meaningful progress: ownership confirmed, business model understood, fulfillment explained, documents requested and application ready for provider review. These checkpoints help you see whether your buying criteria match your actual placement capabilities. If restricted categories dominate your conversations, revisit your criteria before expanding your purchase. Our campaigns capture merchant inquiries with a disclosure naming MerchantCardLeads and partner payment-processing providers. New campaign leads include the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in your dashboard, email and webhook delivery. You are responsible for following TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach.
By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Buyer SMS alerts use a separate opt-in: “I agree to receive automated lead-alert text messages from MerchantCardLeads at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
No contracts. Pause anytime.
Real-time return requests: within 72 hours. Approved returns become wallet credits; “already has a processor” is not a valid return reason. Aged returns: bad phone only.

Yes, but keep your buying criteria aligned with that limitation. Prioritize relevant industry and volume options, then confirm the actual products and sales model. We do not treat an industry label as proof that your processor will accept the merchant.
No. Our $45 exclusive price concerns access to the inquiry at the fresh-lead stage, not document completeness or risk acceptance. You still need to qualify ownership, fulfillment, disputes and processor fit. Later disclosed aged resale is not prohibited by fresh exclusivity.
Do not treat the purchase itself as permission for automated outreach. Review the available consent evidence and your TCPA and DNC obligations before choosing a contact method. We do not promise renewed consent for aged leads, and your buyer SMS alert opt-in does not authorize messages to merchants.
Use your chosen delivery channel to assign a sales owner first. Have that representative establish ownership, products, fulfillment and processing history, then route a concise qualification summary for review. Keep the application status separate and request sensitive documents through your approved secure process.
