    Exclusive Merchant Leads

Exclusive Merchant Leads from MerchantCardLeads are fresh merchant-processing inquiries sold to one platform buyer at $45 each. You control your team's discovery and follow-up without another fresh buyer from our platform pursuing the same inquiry. Exclusivity covers our fresh distribution—not the merchant's activity elsewhere or later aged resale disclosed in our terms.

What does an exclusive merchant lead mean for your sales desk?

Our exclusive option gives one platform buyer access to each fresh exclusive inquiry. For payments representatives, that means you can assign one account owner, run a consistent discovery conversation and avoid overlapping fresh outreach from other buyers on our platform.

It does not mean the merchant has agreed to work only with you. A merchant may compare processors, speak with an incumbent provider or submit inquiries elsewhere. Fresh exclusivity also does not prohibit later aged resale disclosed in our terms; it is not permanent ownership of the inquiry.

These are not live transfers, appointments, inbound calls or pay-per-call. You purchase an inquiry to qualify, not a scheduled conversation, signed processing agreement or underwriting decision.

How do our paid campaigns capture inquiries and consent?

We run our own paid Facebook and Google campaigns for merchant-services inquiries. Our campaigns display this consent disclosure:

“By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

New campaign leads carry the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in dashboard, email and webhook delivery. Review that evidence before outreach rather than treating an exclusive purchase as unrestricted permission to call or text.

You remain responsible for TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach, including the methods and timing you use. Do not assume every historical inquiry carries the same evidence or that an aged purchase renews consent. Your opt-in to buyer SMS alerts is separate from merchant consent.

How should you budget for exclusive, shared and aged leads?

Our exclusive leads cost $45 each, compared with $25 for shared leads distributed to up to three buyers. Pricing can vary for high-risk or high-volume leads. The exclusive premium buys narrower fresh distribution; it does not establish stronger intent or make a merchant easier to approve.

Our aged prices are $6 for the 1–30-day tier, $3 for 31–90 days, $1.50 for 91–180 days and $0.75 for 180+ days. Aged orders have a 25-lead minimum. Treat aged outreach as a separate reactivation workflow, not a lower-cost equivalent of fresh exclusivity.

Set your exclusive budget around the number of inquiries your team can actively work. Track spend against qualified conversations, applications, activated accounts and actual residuals. An unworked exclusive inquiry still consumes budget, even though no other fresh platform buyer received it.

Which filter choices support an exclusive-lead workflow?

Use your filter choices to define the merchants your processing relationships can realistically support. Review available industry, location and processing-volume options against your underwriting appetite, service territory and account economics. For example, an e-commerce specialist should assess online payment requirements rather than assume every retail sales process will translate.

Avoid narrowing your buying criteria simply to create a more attractive list. Each restriction should connect to a sales or underwriting decision: whether you can serve the business, support its payment channels or justify the time required to pursue it.

Do not assume every merchant detail will be available before purchase. Use the inquiry to prioritize discovery, then confirm business activity, current processing arrangements, volume and decision authority directly with the merchant.

How should you own discovery and follow up on an exclusive inquiry?

Assign one representative as the primary owner before outreach begins. That owner should review the inquiry and consent evidence, make a prompt first attempt through an appropriate channel and keep a clear history of responses and next steps. Exclusive distribution is not a reason to leave an inquiry unattended.

Start discovery by confirming what prompted the merchant to seek processing help. Establish whether the issue involves a new business, pricing, funding, account stability, integrations or another operational need. Then confirm who can authorize a change and what timing matters.

Keep separate statuses for attempted contact, meaningful conversation, application and activation. A merchant who asks for information is not necessarily ready to switch. Agree on a specific next step, coordinate any specialist handoff and respect requests to stop outreach.

Which independent delivery channels fit your exclusive sales process?

Choose dashboard, email or webhook delivery according to how your team takes ownership of new inquiries. These are independent delivery channels: your workflow does not need to rely on someone checking an email before acting on a webhook, or vice versa. New campaign consent text, timestamp and source page accompany delivery through each of these channels.

For a single representative, dashboard review and email may support a straightforward routine. For a staffed sales desk, webhook delivery can support routing into your sales workflow. Ensure duplicate notifications do not cause multiple representatives to approach the same merchant independently.

If you opt in to buyer SMS alerts, treat them as notifications for your team—not as merchant permission for SMS outreach. Keep responsibility for response clear regardless of which alert arrives first.

What can you return, and how should you handle an issue?

Our return window is 72 hours. Review each exclusive inquiry promptly so you can identify a potential issue and raise it within that window. Keep a concise account of the problem, relevant delivery details and your outreach attempts for review against the applicable return terms.

Do not treat exclusivity as a return promise for an unanswered call, a competing quote or an unsuccessful application. One fresh platform buyer does not mean guaranteed contact, qualification, approval or a sale. Return eligibility and sales performance are separate questions.

Aged purchases have a narrower return policy: bad phone is the eligible reason. If you buy both fresh exclusive and aged leads, keep those workflows distinct and apply the relevant terms to each purchase.

How do you start buying exclusive leads without a contract?

We offer Starter at $250, Growth at $500 and Scale at $1,000, with custom packs starting at $250. There are no contracts, and you can pause anytime. Choose a budget that matches your response capacity rather than committing more inquiries than your representatives can work.

Before buying, settle four decisions: your merchant criteria, delivery channel, primary account owner and follow-up process. Review the fresh exclusivity boundary, later aged resale terms and return requirements together so your team understands what the purchase covers.

You can start with a focused exclusive workflow and evaluate actual results before expanding your spend. For help aligning your purchase with your payments sales operation, contact our founder, Chad Buchanan, at (248) 686-6955.

What should you know before contacting a merchant?

Our campaigns capture merchant inquiries with a disclosure naming MerchantCardLeads and partner payment-processing providers. New campaign leads include the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in your dashboard, email and webhook delivery. You are responsible for following TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach.

By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Buyer SMS alerts use a separate opt-in: “I agree to receive automated lead-alert text messages from MerchantCardLeads at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

    No contracts. Pause anytime.

Real-time return requests: within 72 hours. Approved returns become wallet credits; “already has a processor” is not a valid return reason. Aged returns: bad phone only.

What else do payments reps ask?

Is exclusive a good fit if I cannot respond until the next business day?

Only buy at a pace your team can support. Exclusive distribution removes other fresh buyers from our platform, not the merchant's other options. Arrange coverage or pause purchasing when you cannot work new inquiries.

Does the $45 price buy permanent protection from resale?

No. Our $45 exclusive price covers one platform buyer per fresh exclusive inquiry. Later aged resale is disclosed in our terms. It does not buy permanent restrictions on distribution or on the merchant's processor search.

Can I put every exclusive inquiry straight into automated text outreach?

Do not use exclusivity as the basis for that decision. Review the captured consent evidence and your outreach obligations first. You are responsible for TCPA and DNC rules; buyer SMS alert opt-in does not authorize merchant messaging.

How should two representatives share work on one exclusive inquiry?

Name one primary owner and coordinate any support role around that person's discovery notes. Use a single follow-up plan so parallel delivery notifications do not produce duplicate calls, conflicting quotes or unclear next steps.
