MerchantCardLeads · For payments professionals
Aged merchant leads are older merchant-services inquiries offered for resale at prices tied to their age and sales history. At MerchantCardLeads, our base aged prices range from $6 to $0.75 per lead. You buy an opportunity to revisit an earlier inquiry—not proof of current buying intent or renewed consent.

An aged lead represents a merchant’s earlier interest in payment processing or related merchant services. Time has passed since that inquiry, so your first job is to establish whether the business still has a relevant need. The merchant may have selected a processor, postponed a decision or changed priorities.
Aged does not automatically mean previously sold. Our aged offering distinguishes inquiry age from prior sales history, including never-sold options. Those are separate buying considerations: age tells you how long ago the inquiry arrived; sales history tells you how many buyers have already purchased it.
We sell merchant inquiries for your own outreach. We do not sell live transfers, appointments, inbound calls or pay-per-call services.
Our base prices decrease as inquiries get older:
• 1–30 days: $6 per lead. • 31–90 days: $3 per lead. • 91–180 days: $1.50 per lead. • 180+ days: $0.75 per lead; this tier begins at day 181.
Our minimum aged order is 25 leads. Pricing can vary for high-risk or high-volume leads, and sales-history adjustments can affect your purchase price.
The younger bands cost more because you are buying an inquiry closer to its original timing—not because the merchant is certain to answer or switch processors. The older bands let you purchase more inquiries for the same base spend, but your team still needs time for review, outreach and qualification. Choose an age band around your available working capacity rather than the lowest unit price alone.
We disclose prior sales so you can distinguish a never-sold inquiry from one purchased by other representatives. Our aged sales cap is five. Review that history alongside age instead of treating all inquiries within a price band as equivalent.
A prior sale does not prove that another representative reached the merchant, presented a proposal or won the account. Equally, a low sales count does not establish that the merchant has had no conversations with other providers elsewhere.
Fresh exclusivity does not prohibit later disclosed aged resale. You should distinguish an exclusive fresh purchase from a promise that the inquiry will never be offered again. Our aged sales disclosure helps you assess that later purchase on its own terms.
Our never-sold aged leads carry a 50% premium. That premium reflects the absence of earlier sales through us; it does not make the inquiry fresh or establish that the merchant remains in market. For example, a $3 age-band base becomes $4.50 with that premium, before any other applicable adjustment.
Our worked category starts at three prior sales and carries a 25% discount. Here, worked describes the sales-history category—not documented proof of a completed sales conversation. A $3 base becomes $2.25 with that discount, before other applicable adjustments.
You are choosing between different purchase histories, not guaranteed levels of responsiveness. A never-sold older inquiry and a younger inquiry with several prior buyers require different expectations even when their final prices are similar.
Our no-prior-buyer rule means we do not resell the same aged lead to you if you previously bought it from us. That matters when you buy regularly: an older inquiry should not become another purchase for you simply because it moves into a cheaper age band.
This rule is distinct from exclusivity. It prevents repeat purchase by the same buyer; it does not mean other eligible buyers cannot purchase the inquiry within our aged sales limit.
You should still compare purchases with your CRM. A merchant may already be known to your team through referrals, direct prospecting or another provider. Keep previous conversations and opt-outs visible before assigning outreach.
No. Aging, resale and purchase do not renew consent. Our own campaigns display this disclosure:
“By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
New campaign leads carry the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in dashboard, email and webhook delivery. That description applies to new campaign leads; it is not a blanket statement about every historical inquiry.
You are responsible for TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach. Review the consent evidence relevant to the inquiry, your intended channel and any opt-out history before contact. Your opt-in to buyer SMS alerts is separate from a merchant’s permission to receive messages.
Buy aged inquiries when your team can qualify an earlier need without treating it as a fresh request. Start by checking business fit, then ask whether the original processing issue still matters. Avoid opening as though the merchant just requested a quote.
Track purchase cost, outreach time, meaningful conversations and resulting merchant accounts separately. A lower lead price is useful only if the overall effort fits your economics.
Our return window is 72 hours, and aged returns are limited to bad phone numbers. Accepted returns receive wallet credits, not cash refunds; lack of interest is not a return reason. We offer no contracts, and you can pause anytime. For buying questions, contact our founder, Chad Buchanan, at (248) 686-6955.
Our owned merchant-services sites and campaigns attract business owners searching for processing quotes, savings reviews and provider comparisons. New campaign inquiries are inbound and include partner-contact consent. Historical aged leads retain their original source and consent evidence; they are not new inquiries.

Buyer SMS alerts use a separate opt-in: “I agree to receive automated lead-alert text messages from MerchantCardLeads at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
No contracts. Pause anytime.
Real-time return requests: within 72 hours. Approved returns become wallet credits; “already has a processor” is not a valid return reason. Aged returns: bad phone only.
