Never-sold describes purchase history, while aged describes time since the inquiry. A merchant may have requested payment-processing information months ago without that inquiry ever being sold through MerchantCardLeads. Those are separate characteristics, and you should evaluate both before buying.
Never-sold does not mean the merchant has avoided other processors, stopped shopping or remained ready to switch. It also does not turn an aged purchase into a fresh exclusive purchase. You receive an older inquiry with no previous buyer sales through us. Your first conversation still needs to establish whether the merchant has an active processing need.
Our current never-sold pricing adjustment adds 50% to the applicable aged base price. The premium reflects the absence of previous sales to our buyers. You are paying for a different purchase history within an age tier, rather than paying to make the inquiry more recent.
For payments representatives, that distinction can matter when choosing between lower-cost previously sold inquiries and inquiries that have not yet entered another buyer’s purchased list through us. The premium does not establish better reachability or stronger intent. Judge its value by your own conversations, qualified opportunities and acquired merchant accounts.
Our standard aged base prices are $6 for 1–30 days, $3 for 31–90 days, $1.50 for 91–180 days and $0.75 for 180+ days. Applying the current 50% never-sold premium produces $9, $4.50, $2.25 and approximately $1.13 per lead, respectively, before other applicable adjustments and discounts.
Our aged minimum order is 25 leads. Quantity discounts are 10% at 100 leads and 20% at 500 leads. Pricing can vary for high-risk or high-volume leads, so use the displayed purchase total when selecting your list. Do not treat the $0.75 general aged starting price as the never-sold starting price.
Our fresh shared leads are $25 each and may be sold to up to three buyers. Fresh exclusive leads are $45 each. Never-sold aged leads offer a lower-priced route to inquiries with no prior buyer sales through us, but they have already accumulated age.
Choose based on the distinction you need: recency, initial exclusivity or unused purchase history at an aged price. Fresh exclusivity does not prohibit later disclosed aged resale. Likewise, never-sold status describes the history before your purchase; it is not a promise of permanent exclusivity. Our aged policy allows up to five sales per lead.
Start in our aged inventory and select the never-sold filter. Then narrow the age window so you are comparing inquiries with a similar time since submission. Without that second step, a mixed-age selection can obscure how much of your total comes from recency versus the never-sold premium.
Use available industry, location and processing-volume criteria to match your acquiring relationships and underwriting appetite. Review each selection rather than assuming every merchant detail is present. Before checkout, confirm the never-sold selection, age range, quantity and adjusted total. Our overall aged inventory includes other purchase histories, so its total is not a never-sold availability count.
We run our own paid Facebook and Google campaigns for merchant-services inquiries. Our campaigns display this consent disclosure naming MerchantCardLeads and partner payment-processing providers:
“By submitting, you agree that MerchantCardLeads and its partner payment-processing providers may contact you by phone, text and email about merchant services, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
New campaign leads carry the captured consent text, timestamp and source page in dashboard, email and webhook delivery. Never-sold status does not renew consent or establish that every historical aged inquiry has the same documentation. You are responsible for TCPA and DNC rules in your own outreach, including reviewing the consent information associated with your purchase.
Treat our dashboard, email and webhook delivery as separate channels in your buying workflow. Use dashboard access for purchase review, email for your team’s working notifications and webhook delivery for your connected sales process. Keep the never-sold purchase category and inquiry age visible wherever your representatives work.
If you receive the same inquiry through multiple channels, reconcile it before assigning outreach so two representatives do not approach the merchant unintentionally. Buyer SMS alert opt-in is separate from merchant consent. An alert to you is not merchant outreach and does not change the age, sales history or outreach permissions of an inquiry.
Choose an age tier, apply the never-sold filter and assign an owner before purchasing. Begin with a quantity your team can work consistently, subject to our 25-lead aged minimum. Our funding packs are Starter at $250, Growth at $500 and Scale at $1,000; custom packs start at $250.
There are no contracts, and you can pause anytime. Build your opening around the merchant’s current processing situation rather than assuming an older request remains active. Ask whether the business has changed processors, still needs an account or has unresolved settlement, pricing or integration concerns. We sell lead inquiries—not live transfers, appointments, inbound calls or pay-per-call.
Our aged return window is 72 hours, and the eligible aged return reason is a bad phone number. Review your purchase promptly so you can identify and submit an eligible issue within that window.
The never-sold premium does not broaden the return policy. No answer, a merchant who already switched processors or a conversation that does not produce an opportunity is not the same as a bad phone number. Keep your team’s outcome notes precise: distinguish an invalid number from an unanswered attempt or a merchant declining further discussion. That separation also helps you evaluate purchases accurately.
Consider never-sold aged leads when you want older inquiry pricing but prefer to avoid prior buyer sales through us. They are particularly relevant when your team can reassess merchant needs instead of relying on the urgency of a recent submission.
Compare never-sold and previously sold purchases within the same age range and similar merchant categories. Track cost per qualified conversation and cost per acquired account, not just price per inquiry. The premium makes sense only if your results support it. Our owned merchant-services sites and campaigns attract business owners searching for processing quotes, savings reviews and provider comparisons. New campaign inquiries are inbound and include partner-contact consent. Historical aged leads retain their original source and consent evidence; they are not new inquiries.

Buyer SMS alerts use a separate opt-in: “I agree to receive automated lead-alert text messages from MerchantCardLeads at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
No contracts. Pause anytime.
Real-time return requests: within 72 hours. Approved returns become wallet credits; “already has a processor” is not a valid return reason. Aged returns: bad phone only.

Yes. Time since submission and prior sales are separate measures. Our never-sold filter identifies aged inquiries that have not been sold to any buyer through us, including those in older age tiers.
No. Never-sold describes the inquiry’s history before you buy it, not permanent exclusivity. Our aged policy permits up to five sales per lead.
No. Our premium reflects no prior buyer sales through us. It does not reset the submission date, confirm current interest or renew consent.
Choose according to your sales process. A newer tier prioritizes recency; never-sold status prioritizes purchase history. You can combine both, but compare the adjusted cost with your team’s ability to qualify and work those inquiries.
